  • 1 pinchFlora Danica culture

INSTRUCTIONS

    Pour the half-and-half into a clean 1-pint mason jar

    Add a pinch of Flora Danica culture

  3. 3

    Stir gently to combine

  4. 4

    Close the jar with a lid

  5. 5

    Leave the jar on the countertop at room temperature until the mixture thickens, usually 1-2 days

    Once thickened to your liking, transfer to the refrigerator and chill before using

NOTES

Use a clean jar and utensils. The exact thickening time depends on room temperature. Once cultured and chilled, store in the refrigerator and use as you would regular sour cream.
